Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. The couple had separated and she moved with her mom to Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's main character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford's role she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005.
