Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects throughout her career. Some of these include the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and the French historical miniseries Napoleon. She also remained member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
